A. I operated a five color printing press and decided to get into a home remodeling because it was a more stable industry. I am very happy I made that decision in 1992. One of the best decisions of my life to be my own boss and have the pleasure of working with people and increasing the value of their most valuable asset: their home
Q. Why does your work stand out from others?
A. I always involve the customer at the start of the job and keep the customer informed of the progress throughout the job. We're on time and efficient and we respect our homeowners and their property. From start to finish we are respectful we can keep the project neat and organized we use the highest quality materials we can find. The project is tailor-made for your tastes your budget and the Implementation is of the highest standard.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like talking to the customers and creating a friendly trustworthy work environment. I hear
from customers all the time, this guy did this this guy did that. I've heard Other contractors say to their client: "You should be glad we're here".I shake my head in disbelief and think "I'm glad I got the job". I can't believe a service provider would say that. But some do.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. Last year I gut remodeled a kitchen, adding new electrical and plumbing upgrades. We repaired plaster and added drywall ceilings. We replaced windows and doors, painted the walls and added new tile flooring with new kitchen cabinets and counter tops.
We removed carpeting on the first floor of a house and added a new front door and new hardwood flooring on the first floor. I also weatherproofed a bathroom to keep the pipes from freezing in cold weather. I will be back in the spring to replace the small room addition with a new bathroom. We were referred to a friend of her's to remodel the new house her friend just bought.
We took down an old garage and replaced the sewer and drain lines inside the house and out, from the house to the alley. Then excavated for a new foundation and the new 22 x 27' deep garage. They are very happy.
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. CCR remodeling and woodworking, remodels kitchens, basements complete house remodels. We build and install custom entertainment centers and built in bookshelves. We're not intimidated by any remodeling project. Case in point, in 2009 we shored up a house, gutted the house and removed and replaced the foundation, replaced all windows, doors, plumbing, electrical, roof ... We've done them all!
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. I have 25 years of experience in remodeling and I work well with others.
Q. Do you do anything to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I have always watched training programs and read trade magazines and architectural magazines. I am RRP lead safe certified. I take my projects very seriously and we enjoy the type of work we do.
