I think he does a great job. He gives great service, he has a great customer service, and great bedside manner. He is professional. I've used him twice now. There were schedule conflicts and stuff like that but once he comes out, he is quick, he is efficient, and does a fine job. What stood out for me is he appears to be very good-natured, pretty happy-go-lucky kind of guy, and he is a kind of guy that isn't going to try and suck me in by charging me extra charges and stuff. His pricing is very fair.

Stephen and his crew were great. They built my back deck. 20x11 feet on 5 foot posts. They suggested some creative ideas that I eventually used and I gotta tell you....my deck is ridiculous.....i love it so much. They even put in a 16 hour day just to make sure they got it done in time ..they worked around my schedule. Jim and Ron came with him and these guys were so great. Respectful and professional. I found my new handyman as well. Love this team.

If you're a DIY kind of guy like me, inevitably you find yourself hitting a wall... and when you do, you gotta be thankful that guys like Steve Boykin are around to save the day. My "wall" in this scenario was literally... a wall. Specifically the shower pipes that were less than straight in the wall, making replacing shower cores and handles more than a challenge to me; something I was coming to terms with on about my 5th try to get these on right. So I emailed Steve who texted me back and soon enough, Steve was at my building rocking an LA Dodgers hat (plus there for a local like me) with a smile. As I mentioned, I'm a DIY guy so when I asked Steve if I could give a helping hand so that I can learn in the process, he was cool with it and before I knew it, something that was killing my ego for a day was resolved while telling some fun stories back and forth as a "team". Before taking off, Steve was kind enough to look at two other "next projects" i was about to tackle including my leaking hot / cold fountain in the kitchen and my leaking A/C. His advice on the kitchen fountain was the dead on and I was able to fix it myself two days later after receiving a part from the manufacturer who was based in LA. He also pointed out some issues in the A/C unit in the ceiling that I couldn't see before and helped me so that I could take some vital photos of the issues for handing off to an A/C pro to fix it. Yup, that one isn't going to by DIY. Steve's rate was perfect for me.. $50 an hour and I was able to use my card on his iPhone with a swipe. More importantly, I enjoyed my time with Steve in my place.. and I got to learn something in the process so that I can DIY it myself in the future. Thanks Steve!

Steve was great! My tenants had the side garage door broken into and wanted some additional security measures setup ASAP! I was a little worried since it was during the Christmas holiday, but I found Steve and he was able to come out Christmas Eve morning. I couldn't believe it. No one else would call me back. Steve saved the day! I will happily continue to use him.

Sam came out to do some patch work on two double stacked receptacles that I wanted to get rid of in my kitchen and I must say the end result was more than expected. Also did some corner trim pieces to separate the living and the dining area. Sam is very talented at what he does and will take the extra step to teach you how to do it if youre willing to learn. Highly recommended, definitely will be using him for future projects.

Steve handled a friend of mine's house in Pasadena. She is an older lady who needed some minor electrical work. Even though he was a busy man he still took the time out to take care of her jobs. Very cool. His team of guys are great.Adam K

A. Drywall repair, patching and painting of interior walls, assembly of furniture, basic plumbing such as faucet installation, toilet installation and repair, fence repair and installation, etc, etc.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I got hired to help as a Construction laborer in the mid 70's and became quite good at it, I seemed to have a knack for it and worked with many Contractors and Construction professionals till I too, became a Construction Professional and in 2005, I started being a Handyman and am now a Truly Professional Handyman!!
