I found G & R Appliance Repair online.  I called on a Saturday and was so pleased George came on that day; checked the fridge and, thank goodness, told me it could be repaired.  I was surprised he gave me a discount on the work and guaranteed his work and a year warranty on the parts.  I am selling my home, so that made me feel secure knowing the new owners would have a reliable working refrigerator.  

I was impressed with his professionalism and would highly recommend him to service your appliances.  He was friendly and was willing to answer my many questions (really patient).  I wish him continued success and am so happy to have a working refrigerator!  Thank you so much George!

We have called G&R twice for emergency refrigerator repairs.  I guess all refrigerator repairs are emergencies!  Anyway, George answered the phone immediately both times and was at our house in an hour or two.  Very nice young man, identified the problem immediately and gave good advice.  I was thinking of buying a new fridge, but he suggested saving the one we have.  He fixed it quickly for a fair price.  No gouging here!  When George left he told me to call if there were any problems.  Next morning we have ice again.

I found G&R Appliance on Yelp and decided to call based on all the five star reviews.  

I needed to repair a KitchenAid wine chiller, which was not cooling and to install several new appliances including switching out a microwave drawer in the kitchen island as well as a beverage cooler for the master bedroom.  George came out on a Saturday and was able to diagnose the problem with the wine chiller within minutes (bad thermostat), saving me the expense of buying a new one.   He was able to order the part and came back out within a couple of days to install it, which solved the cooling problem.

George is very professional and respectful of his customer's time, which unfortunately, I am finding rare these days.   I will not hesitate to call him again for any of my appliance repair needs.

My dishwasher was clogged and I just couldn't figure out how to unclog it even after watching like 5 help videos.  I called them and someone came out within two hours.  It ended up being totally simple, but they guy didn't make me feel like an idiot.  He charged me 30 dollars for the visit and my dishwasher works now.  Plus he was nice to my cats.  This could not have gone better.  Thank you!

George was great and very courteous. He showed up right on time, was friendly, and even wiped his feet at the door.  My old fridge couldn't exactly be fixed, but he basically showed me how I could prolong its life until inevitable replacement.  After his bits of wisdom, it's currently working great.  He was in no rush, and exhausted every option before giving me the final word.  I was only charged the diagnostic fee and am very happy with the service.  I would call him again in an instant.

Got my refrigerator repaired yesterday, 06/24/15. It turns out my timer switch has gone bad.
George arrived on time and repaired it in the shortest time possible. Total charges was $157.57 for parts and labor and was happy with the courteous and efficient service. Cost of service was fair too! If you need any appliance repair, make it G and R. I know I will!

I really appreciated the service and honesty of this company. Although there was a miscommunication and they didn't show up the first time I made an appointment, they came the next day and also waived the service fee which was very generous. The tech who came to my house knew what the problem was right away and gave his estimate for the repair. He gave me his honest opinion on whether or not to move forward with the repair or to replace my appliance. I felt like he was sincere and really knows what he was doing and wasn't just trying to make a quick buck off of me. I would call them again for any appliance repair without hesitation.

George was very responsive to my initial call, and and he came to do the diagnosis of my refrigerator problem the very same day. He did not want to immediately confirm the problem and tried couple things-which unfortunately did not work. I called him back the next day, and he sent Robert instead, since he was busy.  Robert unfortunately confirmed and gave bad news-that my 5 year old fridge's compressor was no longer functioning.  This was right after my extended warranty was over... I actually was expecting something to happen to my fridge for a year. Strange noises has been coming out of the fridge for a while.  Unfortunately,  repair guys extended warranty people sent kept telling me fridge was functioning normal and would not do anything... So Voila, it broke as soon as the warranty was over...

Anyway, Robert gave a reasonable price for parts and labor to fix the problem and change the compressor, etc.  However after fighting with manufacturer, they approved to send the necessary sealed parts for free and I had to pay for the labor only to G & R.  Both Robert and George was very cooperative with us throughout this process, providing their information to the manufacturer for the approval, etc.  (Manufacturer required that we work with an authorized repair center for them to provide the parts for free, and they worked promptly with the manufacturer to provide this information).

They both were very responsive to my calls and texts, informed me right away when the parts arrived, and scheduled a time for installation (They were very nice to schedule an evening appointment for installation).

After they replaced the parts, I had an issue with fridge not cooling again. I called them and Robert found out one of the parts manufacturer sent was faulty. He put additional freon to the fridge, until he was able order the part. Robert came back couple days later as he promised and replaced the faulty part with no extra charge.  He did not order it from the manufactuer this time I believe.  

Overall, I was very happy with the service I got from both Robert and George. They are courteous, genuine, and very honest people. They are very responsive to calls and texts, their prices are fair and reasonable and they stand behind their work. I highly recommend them. I hope I won't, but if I ever do, I will call them, when I have a problem again next time with any of my other appliances.
